1st Vintage Rally and Show at Green Park - Kanpur, we had eighteen cars participating in it. As this rally was held after a long gap, city folks gave us a rousing welcome, it was extensively covered by the press and electronic media. This gave us encouragement for our endeavours. Gradually people started taking interest in their old cars and scooters and the club member strength also rose from seven to fifteen.

In the year 2008 we organised our 2nd rally and show at Green Park – Kanpur and this time the number increased to twenty two. There were cars from Lucknow and Allahabad who drove all the way to take part in the rally. The rally got a good coverage from the press, media and TV. The visitors at Green Park came in large number which gave the organisers great boost. The cars which were rusting away in the garages of the people were taken out and were being restored. Kanpur Citizens started realising their values and importance. This was very encouraging for us as we were progressing a little towards achieving our goal.

On 4th of January 2009 we had our 3rd Annual Rally and Show at Green Park – Kanpur. More colours were added this time. It started with the singing of the National Anthem followed by the release of pigeons, a symbol of peace and prosperity. The car participation increased to thirty two this time giving us more moral boost. We had cars from Lucknow, Sitapur and Bareilly joining us this time. It was a very successful event and was visited by a large number of people at Green Park – Kanpur and people lined up on the roads to have a glimpse of these beauties showing off on the rally route. As usual this time it was also covered extensively by the press, media and TV. In addition to this Radio Mirchi, FM Channel of Kanpur organised a quiz contest at Green Park which was a great crowd puller.
